We arrived at our hotel and checked in. Once we had all settled in we later played bingo and Rita won with a full house! The entertainer was a singer called Wayne and we all listened while he sang his songs.
Today we took a walk along the Pier and promenade. Where we watched a Punch and Judy show, played on the arcade games. The favourite arcade game was 'pirate water shooter' which everyone played on. We also went crabbing but unfortunately we did not catch any crabs. We had our our evening meal at the hotel and afterwards the entertainment gave us a chance to dance the night away. Everyone had played bingo and I think Alan enjoyed the dancing most.
Today we took a trip out to Snowdon, it is the highest mountain in Wales We had lunch in the cafe and then took the small train which goes around the lake. We had a great view of the mountain peak from the train. In the evening after our evening meal we played bingo. Then William got to sing Elvis songs with the entertainer. Everyone said the train journey was the best part of the day!
The sun was shining today and we decided to take a trip to a local farm where they have reptiles and animals such as goats and sheep. We got the chance to pet the animals, feed some and take part in a sheep race which Rita won. Later at the hotel after dinner we took a stroll down to the promenade, there was a Christian service and William wanted to sing along with the hymns. Once back at the hotel we played bingo listened to the entertainment. Alan won the bingo and got a photo frame!
We took a trip to The Sealife Centre in Rhyl. We watched a Sea Lion Show and had lunch in the cafe. We then came back and played a quiz. After dinner we played bingo and William won! He also got to sing an Elvis song by himself. Everyone enjoyed a dance and sang along to the evening entertainment.
Everyone wanted to go to the Pier today. We took a walk along the Promenade and there was a chance to play on the arcade games on the Pier. Alan won the jackpot on the ticket machine with 1306 tickets! Rita wanted to go crabbing, the seagulls stole her food and took the fishing line out of her hands! In the evening after our meal we played bingo, got to play a tambourine and pretend to play along with the music with an inflatable guitar, it was great fun.
Today we went gift shopping and bought post cards to send to our friends and family. We also had lunch in a cafe while out. Later back at the hotel, it was a lovely pleasant evening and we enjoyed our usual meal followed by the entertainment.
It was the end of our holiday and time to check out of the hotel. William wants to come back and had a great time on the Pier. Alan also wanted to come back and thought the best part was the evening music. Rita loved everything about the holiday and also wants to come back!
