Monday 16th April
After our journey we settled in to our chalet and then went for a lovely
three course meal in the evening. After the meal we went for a dance and
watched the show, it was singing and dancing. Everyone was in bed by
eleven as we had all had a long day travelling. |

Tuesday 17th April
In the morning some of the group went to a sing along and enjoyed
joining in, Sarah loved singing. There was also Nordic Walk in the
morning for those who wanted to join in. After lunch Jon and Peter walked down
to the beach with Marion. We also went for a ride to Lowestoft beach and
took in the local sights. Later in the evening we enjoyed the
entertainment which tonight was a singer and comedian. Peter liked him
so much he bought a CD to help him remember his stay. |
Wednesday 18th April
On site we have a pool with a glass roof. Some of the group enjoyed a
swim, it was lovely and warm under the glass. Jon went for a landscape
walk in the morning with the Warner team. In the afternoon some of the
group also went on the landscape walk. There was also a chance to
practice putting. Today we had lunch and everyone said it was amazing
with so many different things to chose from. After lunch we went to the
afternoon show time. Later we enjoyed dancing along with the resident
band called Crackerjack. |

Thursday 19th April
After breakfast, Jon decided to go for a walk and take in the Gunton
Hall area which is set in Woodland. Then we all went to Gorlestan-on-Sea
situated at the mouth of the river Yare. It has a sandy beach along with
a promenade and we were very lucky with the weather as it was the
warmest day of the year, so far. Of course as it was so warm we had to
enjoy a yummy ice cream! |
Friday 20th April
Today some of us decided to go for a swim and some went shopping to a
nearby supermarket. Later we went to visit Great Yarmouth. We sat by the
beach and had sandwiches for lunch. Then we stopped for a drink in a
cafe and watched the waves lapping on the shore. We saw some horse and
carts travelling along the promenade. There was a chance to buy some
souvenirs or gifts for friends. Raymond liked watching the sea most
today. Again, later we took in the entertainment back at our accomodation. |

Saturday 21st April
This morning we visited the Wroxham Barn where we had lunch in their
cafe. Wroxham Barn is a popular tourist attraction and houses craft
shops, another chance to buy gifts or souvenirs, with lots of pretty
things on sale. Everyone also had an ice cream before going back. Some
went for a stroll and later we went for our evening meal followed by the
evening entertainment. |
Sunday 22nd April
This was our last full day so we sorted as much of our packing as we
could. Some decided to go swimming and some wanted to walk to the lake
to see the fish. We visited Gorleston and had
another ice cream by the beach (we are on holiday!). We were hoping we
would see some boats at Gorleston Harbour but unfortunately we did not
see any. In the evening the entertainment was a 'Frank Sinatra' tribute
act. |

Monday 23rd April
It is home day but we enjoyed our last lovely breakfast together,
finished our packing and set off for our homes. We had been impressed by
the selection and choice of meals for Breakfast and each 3 course meal
every evening. The weather and surrounding area had been lovely. |
