Monday 10th July
We all arrived safely and settled into our accomodation. Our first
evening and we enjoyed watching a show with comedy and singing for the
entertainment and a chance to have a dance for those who wanted to. |
|

Tuesday 11th July
We ate a big breakfast before we started our day of activities.There was
bowling in the morning followed by a trip to town for lunch.
Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us and we had some rain today.
In the evening there was a chance to Waltz or Disco dance. Sarah was
brave and joined the entertainer for a dance on the dance floor ! |
Wednesday 12th July
Today we visited Paignton Zoo. We enjoyed seeing all the animals. Some
of the animals and birds we saw were Giraffes, Elephants, big cats along
with flamingoes. We had beautiful blue skies for our walk around the
Zoo. Later in the evening the 'Rat Pack' was the theme for the
entertainment. |

Thursday 13th July
This morning we visited Torquay where we took a boat trip. Once back on
dry land we stopped for a snack. In the afternoon some of the group
enjoyed a swim in the indoor swimming pool. This evening's entertainment
was an Elvis themed disco a great chance for dancing and joining in with
the singing. |
Friday 14th July
Today we headed out for our visit to a Steam Train. We enjoyed a ride on
the train with some great views of the boats in the harbour. We then had
afternoon Tea before we went for a walk along the harbour. |

Saturday 15th July
The whole group visited 'Living Coasts Sea World' today. Living Coasts
is a coastal Zoo and Aquarium based around seabirds and other coastal
wildlife. It was great seeing the penguins being fed. We also managed
to stop for a lovely Devon cream tea! |
Sunday 16th July
Today we decided to go shopping, this was a good opportunity to buy some
souvenirs. We visited the picturesque village of Cockington, close to
Torquay in Devon. It has narrow lanes and thatched cottages. Another
chance to sample a yummy cream tea. |

Monday 17th July
Our last day, time to pack say "good bye" and travel home. |
