Go Karting Wednesday 10th April

There was a "Big Start" at 9am and we joined this celebration which was for all ages. It was very energetic and lots of fun. Peter Greig was the preacher and he gave a talk about prayer. Miriam really enjoyed this. Later in the morning there was a celebration for adults with learning disabilities, it was called "Livability". This was a very interactive session where they taught us about Jonah and the whale. In the afternoon we enjoyed going on the Go Karts and in the evening we went to Ludo's Italian Restaurant, in Butlins for a meal. We then finished the day at 11pm after singing for an hour with the choir.
Thursday 11th April

We did the same again today and joined the main sessions at Livability with a slightly different theme. In the afternoon we visited "Splash Waterworld" this was a chance to swim, float on the lazy river, whizz down the slides and generally have fun in the water. It had been another day full of fun.

walking on the beach Friday 12th April

Today we had a similar start to the previous couple of days, the theme was "Pray Big!" and we heard about God sending fire when Elijah prayed, talking about how 'All things are possible when we pray to God' (Mark 10 verse 27). There was a picnic with all the other people at Livability and then we went for a walk along the beach, it was a lovely day and we had an ice cream. In the afternoon Miriam went to livability and joined in with the activities the theme was the prayer "The Lord is my shepherd" and also learnt Makaton sign language, she really enjoyed this. Emily opted to go to the Centre Stage where "Duggie Dug was and was thrilled to have her picture taken with Duggie. She also learnt sign language and took part in dance. In the evening we enjoyed a meal at The Fish & Chip restaurant at Butlins.
Saturday 13th April

It was time to get all our things ready to go, say our goodbyes and travel home.
