Once we had arrived we all got settled into our tents. We headed to the Main Hall for a "Welcome Party" with a live band, called POPGUN, for our first evening! The party went on until midnight.

We went to an Introduction and Information meeting before taking part in archery and then an adventure course. After lunch we went on the zip wire and a team swing. John made Rachel go all the way to the top of the swing ! We then rode around on pedal carts and after dinner we danced the night away at the disco.
Today we went out on a trip to pitch and putt golf and also took part in some aerobics. After lunch some of us played a game of 'rounders'. There was also a horse and cart ride and then we took part in the "art tent" activities. Rachel and Toyin went on a boat ride to Brightlingsea in order to go "crabbing". After dinner there was a rainbow party where we all dressed up in bright colours of the rainbow.
We went to the other side of the Island today. Where we went to the beach and had a chance to do some gift shopping. After lunch we took part in Circus themed games and activities before going to a band workshop. For our evening meal we visited a restaurant and when we returned there was a Camp Concert. Toyin read her poem, Joanna sang a song, John sang and danced an Abba song and Jerome sang and danced to Michael Jackson songs. Everyone was very brave going up onto the stage!
We started the day with a ride on the quad bikes followed by a speed boat ride just off the beach. We also watched the Newfoundland dog rescue people, this was one of the afternoon activities also taking place on the beach. After lunch it was the football tournament although Toyin decided to go to the 'laughing yoga' activity. After dinner we all dressed up in fancy dress for the circus party. We watched the entertainment of fire acts and the band, called 'The Heaters'. This was followed by another disco. We are loving all the fun disco's!
We packed up and said goodbye. There had been so much to do on our holiday and we had all enjoyed ourselves!
