After a long day of travelling we were pleased to arrive at the hotel. Aaron was already at the hotel as he had stayed on for another week's holiday, lucky chap! (He had also been on the first week of Great Yarmouth).

our boat trip Monday 22nd July

Today we hired a boat on the Norfolk Broads. It was a nice boat and the weather was sunny and hot. We had a great trip, everyone took a turn at driving the boat and we also had a pub lunch. We saw lots of wildlife on the water including ducks and swans, even a kingfisher and a heron.
Tuesday 23rd July

We visited Thrigby Hall Zoo today and we enjoyed looking at all the animals and we got really close to the tigers. After lunch at the zoo we went to the beach. It was a hot sunny day, there was a breeze blowing from the sea which was lovely.

We decided as it was going to be such a hot day that we would go to the beach where there would be a welcome breeze to keep us cool. We had lunch on the beach and then went for a quick spot of retail therapy before seeking shade in our hotel (after having an ice cream!)
Thursday 25th July

Today we went to The Horse Sanctuary. The horses love a cuddle! We were able to pet lots of animals and some donkeys. We went back to the sea front for lunch, as there was still a cool breeze by the sea! (which was very welcome). We took a trip on a Horse and Carriage which trotted along the sea front. Later we enjoyed the evening entertainment in the hotel, even if we did not win the bingo.

We visited The Time and Tide Museum today, where we learnt how they made herrings into kippers. We had a KFC for lunch and then went to the Arcades where you can have a lot of fun for very little money. We also went on the pier and some of us had a go at darts and there was a chance to take fun photographs and go on a ride at the pier.
Saturday 27th July

It was a much cooler day today, thankfully and there was a little bit of rain. We went to see Africa Alive which is a zoo, with lots of African animals to see. After our dinner tonight we took part in the entertainment. We had the chance to dance along with the music and play along with the Bingo and one, Sarah is shown displaying the lucky win from Bingo.
