Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens Monday 15th July

Today we visited Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens. As well as being able to see animals there were treetop and tunnel walks. We saw the crocodiles in the swamp house then the otters, porcupines and different types of leopards. Charlotte, Michael, Leslie and Steven all liked the meerkats best while Aaron liked the pigs. Although it was cold we all enjoyed ourselves. That evening we had a lady singer who sang hits from the 1980's.
Tuesday 16th July

A chance to walk along the sea front to the beach while stopping to have a look in the shops. Some of us enjoyed the rides at The Pleasure Beach. Aaron and Steven had a paddle in the sea and Aaron got soaking wet! He said he enjoyed getting wet both in the sea and especially on the log flume. Steven won on the penny arcade and will save his tickets before he claims his prize. Leslie and Charlotte said they enjoyed the beach.

boat trip Wednesday 17th July

Today we went to the Norfolk Broads for a trip on an old paddle steamer style of boat. It was a lovely day spotting the different wild life and marking them off on a sheet. We had a picnic in the park for lunch. That evening after dinner we listened to a singer who sang songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Thursday 18th July

We visited the Elizabethan House Museum today, it is a National Trust heritage site. We looked around the period kitchen which had lots of old fashioned gadgets. Upstairs is thought to be the place where they plotted to over throw Charles I. We tried on different types of armour which was very heavy as was the musket. That afternoon Steven and Aaron had a ride on the bumper cars which they really enjoyed.

Great Yarmouth holiday Friday 19th July

Today we went to Africa Alive, a zoo not far from us. In one day we went around learning about the endangered animals in Africa and Asia. Some of the animals were cute like the meerkats. We had a burger for lunch while at the zoo. In the evening everyone decided they would like to go out for drinks and to chat in the lounge.
Saturday 20th July

We visited The Time and Tide Museum today. This was all about the fishing Industry, it is the third largest museum in Norfolk. It was very interesting with lots of exhibits that we could handle. After lunch at the museum we went to the Hippodrome Circus which was exciting and had much varied entertainment. Sadly when we got back to the hotel we had to start our packing ready to go home.
