We all arrived safely at the hotel and got settled in our rooms. We had a lovely evening meal at the hotel and sat in the bar area chatting and getting to know each other over a few drinks before having an early night as everyone was so tired after all the travelling.
We all enjoyed a full English breakfast this morning and went for a walk along the parade. We visited Merrivale Model Village and enjoyed doing a quiz as we walked round looking at everything. We had lunch and Sonia had her sandwich eaten by a seagull! We then played crazy golf and Keith won - he was very pleased. We sat on the pier and had ice creams before returning to the hotel where we had dinner. In the evening we went to a pub called The Prince Edward which had live music so everyone enjoyed a dance.
Another full English to start the day! This morning we went to Thrigby Hall and saw lots of different animals. We got really close to some tigers and leopards! We had pasties and ice cream and a lovely walk around the lake there. We then went back to the hotel for a walk on the beach where Adam went for a swim but everyone else enjoyed a paddle. After dinner we all wanted to go back to the pub for live music and more dancing.
Another full English breakfast we will sink the boat! We went to Horning for a trip on a paddle steamer on the Norfolk Broads. We saw lots of wildlife and had lunch on the boat. We waked round a local fete having ago at the tombola and lucky dip. We enjoyed a drink at the pub by the river. After another lovely dinner at the hotel we spent the evening at the arcades followed by drinks at the hotel bar and a game of dominos.
Today we visited Gorleston-on-Sea we relaxed on the beach and built a great big sandcastle. after lunch we had a milkshake and a look round the shops. That evening we had an early dinner as we went to the cinema to watch Mamma Mia 2 with lots of singing!
After another full English breakfast we headed off for the Sea Life Centre. We saw lots of sharks and a huge tortoise, after lunch we went on a shopping trip followed by a trip to the beach where we flew a kite. After our dinner at the hotel that evening we enjoyed the entertainment with lots of singing and dancing.
This morning we all wanted to go to Church where we enjoyed the choir. For lunch we walked to the famous Fish & Chip shop Harry Ramsden for a lovely lunch. We had a walk about town getting some last minute gifts and souvenir. We spent the afternoon packing, playing pool and cards. We had our last meal together followed by a game of bingo at the hotel with more dancing and singing.
After breakfast we all said our goodbyes as we headed off on our journeys home. We all agreed we had had a great holiday and made lots of new friends who we hope to meet again on another holiday with Options.
