Sunday
Today we arrived at Bells hotel. We had a cup of tea and
unpacked our bags. We had dinner at the hotel. Later we sat in the bar
and looked at our programme. We talked about the languages spoken in
each country and we looked at the map to see where the countries are.
Monday
We got up and had a massive English breakfast. We then went to
the coffee shop and sorted out our shopping lists. We went round getting
all we needed for the recipes. We went out for lunch and then started
our cooking. We made Thai balls and Thai green chicken curry. The house
we are staying in is amazing. We have an enormous kitchen which is great
for cooking. After dinner we had fresh fruit and a chocolate fountain.
Tuesday
We are visiting America today. We had pancakes for breakfast,
we tried tossing them, all the men dropped them ion the floor, all the
ladies managed to catch them. We made Elvis’s meatloaf and strawberry
cheesecake. We went to Smarts Farm and watched them making cheese. We
went into the store for a taster. Some of us brought some cheese we went
to see the calves and the Gloucester old spot pigs.

coffee. We cooked Quiches for lunch and we made Pork Normande and
potatoes dauphin Oise and Vichey carrots, green beans and mange tout.
For dessert we made crème Brule and we all had a go with the blow torch.
We went to the Three Choirs Vineyard and had a tour and wine tasting.
Thursday
Today is Italy but the weather is not a bit like Italian
weather, it’s raining. For breakfast we had cold meats and cheese,
yogurts and fruit and pastries. For lunch we had pizza. We went to the
shops in the afternoon and brought some snacks and presents. We made
Mediterranean soup followed by lasagne for dinner and tiramisu for
dessert.
Friday
Well today is Greece and we're saying kalmia. For breakfast we
had Greek yogurt and honey, fruit and coffee. We cooked roasted, pepper
hummus for lunch followed by chocolate cake for tea and then we made a
Greek meze followed by village sausages and baklavas for dessert. We all
voted this is a good holiday. |
