We arrived at 5:30pm at The Manor House Hotel and settled into our rooms. There were going to be lots of activities to visit and take part in. We then had a lovely meal with some wine and later enjoyed the entertainment. The entertainment was a singer, we all danced along to the songs.
Our first full day. Matthew enjoyed pottery and made a snowman. Annabel enjoyed her colouring activity and then we painted some porcelain dogs and a snowman light. After lunch we went into an amazing hydro pool. Annabel loved the massage bubbles and Matthew liked the sauna. After our evening meal there was a quiz night.
In the morning Annabel finished painting her dog and then made a necklass for her mum. Matthew played table tennis and golf. After lunch There was a chance to do some drawing or bowling and golf. In the evening the entertainment was a singer.
We had coffee in the sun room followed by a visit to the hydro pool. After lunch Annabel did some pottery transfers and made a money box in the shape of a pig. Matthew played golf. In the evening we had our picture taken, the picture will be a great memory of our holiday. The evening entertainment tonight was a singer.
Today Annabel's activity was making cards while Matthew chose to play bowls. After lunch we went to the sister hotel, Ashbury Hotel. Our activity there was making candles and we watched a film before our eveing meal and the evening quiz game.
Annabel chose a bead activity and made a necklace, she really enjoyed doing this. Matthew played new age bowls and table tennis. We collected all the things we had made during our activities of the week and made a start on our packing ready for going home tomorrow. After lunch we went for a swim and then watched a film, the weather was wet and windy today so we were glad to be inside.
Time to go home. We had been busy all week and Annabel said she was going home for a rest!
