Once everyone had arrived and finished their unpacking, they got to know each other over dinner. We visited the local pub and then decided to have a 'movie night'. Everyone was excited to hear the activities and the trips that we have planned for the next few days. Sinead said she was in chocolate heaven.
Today was John's birthday ! We celebrated his birthday by making him a cake along with chocolates ( It is Chocoholics Holiday after all !) We visited the Cotswold town of Cirencester and found a beautiful shop with hand made chocolates. In the evening we enjoyed a birthday tea with a chocolate fountain and the birthday cake. John said he had a lovely day, as did Jenny and Sinead.
Today was our big trip out to Cadbury World. We all had an amazing time. The tour included a 4D cinema, a small ride and some shows. (Of course we did get to sample some chocolate). We also learnt about the history of chocolate making and the Cabury company. Jenny's favourite part was the ride, Sinead enjoyed the cinema most and John loved all of it. The tour brings you out into the gift shop which we looked around before returning home.
Today we made chocolate and then honey soap and bath bombs. They smelt lovely! As it was our last night at the Barn we all went out for our evening meal to The Harvester.
Last day and time to pack our things and get ready to go home. Jenny went home first followed by Sinead and John. Everyone has had an amazing time on the holiday. Sinead enjoyed it so much that she wanted to stay on longer !
