Everyone arrived in good time at The Butlins resort in Bognor Regis. After settling in to our accommodation we went for dinner at 'Papa Johns', a pizza place. Later in the evening we went across to the centre stage for the entertainment where we saw a band. The band were a tribute act to The Beatles and they looked and sounded just like them.
What a great day! It started with an amazing breakfast and we all had lots to eat. We toured the complex and enjoyed going on all the rides from the Dodgems to the Carousel. Some of the group played on a stall which said 'win a prize every time'. We also played ten pin bowling. Later in the evening the cabaret was a Freddie Mercury tribute act, he was amazing , wow!
A great night's sleep was had by all. Everyone is really happy with their room and the facilities are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Today we took a visit to Bognor's beach unfortunately the weather was not kind to us as it was very windy. We then had a stroll through the shopping Centre where there was a chance to buy post cards, gifts and souvenirs. In the afternoon the group enjoyed more rides at the funfair. In the evening we all had a good old boogey along to the music.
This was our last full day. We visited the fair ground where everyone was able to enjoy their favourite rides for the last time. Some of the group enjoyed doing a pottery painting activity. While the others wanted to watch some live football. It was Andrew's birthday today and we had a birthday celebration in the evening with decorations and a lovely big cake.
We did our last bit of packing had another great breakfast before we all made our way home. It had been a great holiday enjoyed by all.
