Monkey World Monday 23rd July

After a super cooked breakfast we headed to Monkey World. We saw chimpanzees, orangutans, gibbons, spider monkeys, wooly monkey and many more. We enjoyed a nice picnic while at Monkey World along with ice creams. After another beautiful 3 course meal we saw the 2nd entertainer of the week. It was a guitarist and banjo and a game of bingo.
Tuesday 24th July

Today we took a steam train past Corfe Castle to Swanage. Pauline thought it was a nice journey. The group had lunch on the sea front and enjoyed ice cream. Swanage was a trip down memory lane for Stephen, he holidayed here when he was a child. Later the ladies enjoyed a swim before our evening meal at The Laguna. In the evening it was another chance to gather in the bar and enjoy the bingo and dancing. Richard won the bingo this evening.

aquarium Wednesday 25th July

Full English breakfast all round and then we ventured out into Bournemouth. We visited the Aquarium and saw lots of different fish and animals. Pauline's favourite was the penquin enclosure. We enjoyed lunch out, the majority opting for fish and chips, looking out onto the beach. After a bit of shopping, a look around the arcade and a game of air hockey we headed back to the hotel. Some had a swim at the hotel and some had a little rest before our evening meal and entertainment. Terry was the king of the dance floor this evening !
Thursday 26th July

Our Hotel is near the Central Park in Bournemouth so we headed in to town through the park. The group had a picnic in the park and afterwards visited an aviary and the shops. At the evening entertainment Andrew won the bingo and we danced the night away. Andrew did an excellent Elvis impression.

After another brilliant breakfast at the hotel we took a trip to The Heavy Horse Centre. We fed some very large horses along with goats, pigs and donkeys. We enjoyed a picnic at the farm with cats wandering in and out of the tables. After lunch we saw guinea pigs and rabbits. We enjoyed petting them, they were lovely and soft. The group returned to the hotel to pack, swim and play snooker or table tennis. No dancing tonight, instead we had a quiz which Stephen won.
Saturday 28th July

Time to go home after a great holiday! Everyone said their goodbyes and we travelled back.
