along with Jane, Emma and Jez.
We all arrived at The Laguna Hotel. After meeting one another we unpacked and settled in. We had our evening meal at 6.30pm then some played bingo, followed by the entertainment, which was a singer called Joe. This was a good chance for a dance for those who wanted to join in.
Today we drove to Portsmouth where we had a 'Harbour Boat Tour'. On the return journey we took a lovely drive through the New Forest. In the evening we played bingo and listened to the female singer.
After breakfast we drove to Corfe Castle, part of the journey involved going on a ferry. The weather was hot and sunny. We ate our sandwiches and then went shopping for gifts. In the evening Ruth won some money while playing bingo ! We then listened and danced to the Singer.
Today we had a restful morning at the hotel. After this we all went to a pub called The Spyglass and Kettle. We had a lovely light lunch at this pub. On the way back we stopped off at the shop then returned to the hotel to get ready for our evening meal. We played bingo and then enjoyed another dance to the singer, this time a man called Mike.
We decided to have a lazy morning and rested a little after breakfast. We had a lunch time picnic in the hotel grounds. After lunch we went to Bournemouth sea front to see the Air Tattoo. We split into two groups, those who wanted to walk further went closer to the pier. The Air Show was fantastic with the red arrows and many more displays. In the evening we played bingo and dance to the singer.
This morning was another quiet one but we did use the time to start our packing. After a picnic in the hotel grounds we all got onto the minibus and went to the Air Tattoo again. Another fantastic day of displays. This time Jez dropped us all off closer to the pier. Steven wanted to do some shopping so Jane went with him.
This morning we said an emotional good bye to one another and to Bournemouth and headed off home.
