Today was a beautiful sunny day and a great day to visit the Seaside at Boscombe. We had our picnic lunch on the sea front, a stroll along the pier and a trip on the land train taking in the sights.
In the evening back at the hotel we enjoyed a roast meal followed by the evening entertainment.
Another beautiful sunny day! Today we visited Swanage via Stidland- Poole Ferry. This was very interesting. Swanage was very busy but that did not stop our picnic lunch on the beach. We also enjoyed an ice-cream while sitting in the sun.
In the evening we played Bingo and listened to the entertainment which was singer.
WUnfortunately, the weather changed to very wet and windy today. So, we decided to go for a ride on the Swanage Railway. There were lots of Diesel trains running today at the railway. We also took in some lunch at the cafe and went for a drive around Poole harbour and saw all the boats.
Luckily the weather improved a little today so we went to The Heavy Horse Centre near Ringwood. It was amazing to meet the gentle giants (the shire horses) and see how they used to work. There were also animals to see and a 'petting' zoo.
Another lovely day! We travelled to Wimborne Model town today. As we looked around the model village we were surprised to see how much details had been put in to it, even through the small windows. The church even had a wedding taking place complete with mini guests and music.While we were at the model village we had lunch and it was really rather nice.
