Bournemouth 2007 By Vivien and James Walker

Saturday: Today We arrived at Laguna hotel. Wendy sorted out where my room was. We then started to unpack our suitcases. When we had finished unpacking our suit case it was time for dinner after dinner we went to the bar to listen to the music. Sunday: First we had the some breakfast we then went swimming. After we had been swimming we went to the beach and had some lunch. Some of us went to the shop. We then came back and had some dinner. After dinner we came to the bar I then thought I would go to bed. Monday: Today some of us were going on a walk and some of us were going to the toy museum but the walk was rained off so we ate in the mini buses. Then we all went to the toy museum it was fun because you could play with some of the toys. After we had been to the toy museum we went to dinner at the hotel then came down to the bar I did some dancing too then I went to bed. Tuesday: Today we went to Swanage we took a ferry to get there, and then we all went on a steam train through the countryside from Norden. When we arrived at Swanage we went to a restaurant and had fish and chips to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We then came to the hotel to have some food we and the staff gave us a cake and some cards. Then came down to the bar .We also did some dancing then we thought we would go to bed. Wednesday: Today we went to Ringwood we went to the sea life centre we then came back to have some dinner we went to the bar after dinner I then went to bed Thursday: We went to the museums and a ride on the horse drawn it was great fun we then came back for are dinner we then went to the bar we then went to bed. Friday: We went to Stapehill gardens it was really fun we then came back to the hotel to have some dinner we then came to the theatre and then watched the fireworks. Saturday: We didn’t really do anything today as many people were going home today and others were coming. But we did have a picnic in the hotel grounds. It was a very hot and sunny day. Sunday: We went to Church in the morning. And later went to the beach, where we had a picnic, and we also had an ice cream. We went to the bar and listened to the singer. Monday: We went to the heavy horse centre, where we had a good time. But James had a seizure and banged his head. So he had to go to hospital to have his head looked at. But we got away in time to go to the Elvis show on the pier which we really enjoyed. We had missed dinner, so Wendy got us some sweet and sour pork for supper. Tuesday: We went on a boat trip today, down a river which was very nice. We had lunch in a nearby café. We drove into the forest and saw the wild horses, and had a cream tea. There was entertainment in the hotel after. Wednesday: We went to a castle today. We had a picnic in the grounds and a good look around. We also went to the shop. There was a church in the grounds which was very nice. It was called St Andrews. After dinner we went to the model village which was all lit up by candles and was very pretty. Thursday: We went to Ringwood and caught the horse drawn bus. We went through the forest, it was very exciting as we had a man with a TV camera with us. He was filming for Meridian News. We had lunch in a forest pub. In the evening we had entertainment in the hotel. Friday: We went shopping in Boscombe and after a coffee we went to Wick where we had a picnic by the river. In the evening we went to the pier to see the Summer spectacular followed by the fireworks. Saturday: Home on the train today.
