evening meal Tuesday 30th October

Today we caught a tram from our hotel to the Blackpool Tower. We had a picnic lunch on the Promenade by the seafront. In the afternoon we visited the Tower Circus, where we saw an amazing variety of circus acts along with all the slapstick humour from the clowns. It was a very enjoyable afternoon. We took the tram back to the hotel and enjoyed the views of the illuminations along the way.
In the evening we were impressed with our lovely meals.
Wednesday 31st October

We spent a relaxed morning in the hotel and had our lunch there. Later, we caught the tram to The Central Pier and visited The Sealife Centre. At the Centre we saw a wide variety of tanks with sea life in them such as stingrays, a 79 year old turtle and walked through an underwater tunnel. The tunnel made you feel like you were almost in the tank with the fish. We returned to the hotel for our evening meal and then some of the group went out in the evening to view the famous Blackpool Illuminatins from the comfort of a tram.

There was a chance to buy souvenirs before riding the tram back to the hotel. After our evening meal some of the group drove along the illuminations, the lights were a spectacular show! The rest of the group visited the Circus and also enjoyed their Circus show.
