Our first day and we travelled to our hotel in Blackpool called The New Mayfair. Once we made all our introductions we unpacked and then had dinner. We then relaxed with drinks at the bar, listening to the entertainment.
After a most enjoyable cooked English breakfast we set off for a drive to The North Tower in Blackpool. Unfortunately it was raining so we did spend some time inside to avoid this and we did some shopping. The weather cleared in the afternoon so we went for a walk along the sea front. In the evening we had dinner followed by the hotel entertainment.
Soon after breakfast we set off into town to please the majority of the group who wanted to go shopping. Towards the end of the day we visited The Tower Circus which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. We took in coffee and cake along with a stroll along the promenade. This evening we went to see the famous Blackpool Illuminations.
Some of the group went to the top of The Blackpool Tower to take in the views. We all then had an enjoyable visit to Sea World, looking at all the aquariums. Later we did our packing and then listened to the hotel entertainment.
We all had breakfast before making our way back home.
