We all met at the airport for our flight to Benidorm. As it was cold and grey we were all looking forward to some sunshine. We arrived and had a whole coach to ourselves to take us to our hotel. It is the hotel where the ITV series Benidorm is filmed, so we were very excited to get there. We arrived with just enough time for dinner before finding our rooms and settling in.

Today we familiarised ourselves with the hotel. Some of us had a dip in the pool while others relaxed on the sun beds. We walked to the shops and took in the local area. There were lots of shops right on our doorstep. In the evening the hotel put on a show. There was a brilliant band and we all had a dance and after the band there was a circus show.
This morning we travelled to Terra Natura which is an animal park. We walked around looking at the animals and watched a bird show. One of the eagles landed on Anna’s head! We eat our lunch at the park, near to the elephants. There were lots of animals to see and many of them we had not heard of! Our favourite was the black leopard, we all loved it. In the evening we dance to the live band. The band was followed by a Mama Mia Show, Suzie loved singing along.

Today we enjoyed a late breakfast (we are on holiday!) and relaxed by the pool, with some enjoying a swim. Andy spent most of his time in the pool! After lunch we decided to investigate the market, next door to the hotel, where we bought some gifts and souvenirs. That evening we all dressed up and after dinner we went to the Benidorm Palace to watch the show. It was fantastic with lots of dancers, juggling and acrobats. This was an amazing evening and we were all home very late.
After our very late evening we had another late breakfast. We are loving our lie-ins! Some of us decided to go to the beach with some deciding to stay and enjoy the pool. Those at the beach had a great time swimming in the sea which was lovely and warm. They all had lunch in a local café. Those who stayed at the pool had a lovely time swimming and relaxing. In the evening there was another great live band and we danced at the disco.

After a hearty breakfast we organised ourselves and got a taxi to the water park. Some swam in the wave pool, some went on the slow water rides whilst a few brave souls enjoyed the fast and extremely thrilling slides!! We enjoyed a tasty lunch here and a great day was had by all. In the evening we all enjoyed a huge dinner before heading out for the evening entertainment. The entertainment involved a talented guitarist followed by a Mama Mia Show.
Today was Theme Park day!! We all made sure we had plenty of breakfast ready for a fun packed day. We got a taxi to Terra Mitica Theme Park and when we arrived we split into 2 groups. In the morning 1 group went to watch some of the shows. The 2nd group decided to go on the big thrill rides. We then all met up for lunch and spent the afternoon together watching the shows and going on the water rides. As we arrived back at the hotel quite late there was time for a quick shower before dinner. After eating some people opted for an early evening whilst the rest went for a drink in the bar and enjoyed listening to a duet singing.

After a busy couple of days everyone was happy to stay by the pool and enjoy a relaxing day. Some people took a stroll to the shops to look for souvenirs. Some people swam in the pool. The sun was lovely all day. That evening there was a very good female singer followed by the Lion King Show which was fantastic, despite the few drops of rain! We all had our picture taken with the dancers after the show
This morning, after breakfast we gathered up our things for the short walk to the beach. We got our sunbeds and umbrellas and enjoyed relaxing. Andy headed straight for the sea and swam most of the day. We headed for a late lunch at a local café. After lunch the guys headed back to the beach whilst the girls ambled back to the hotel via the shops. Sarah bought 2 new dresses. Tonight’s show was a live band followed by a great circus act.

We had an early start today to catch our flight back home. We have all had an amazing fun packed holiday in the sun.
