We arrived in Spain after our flight and travelled to our Holiday Caravan Park. As it was 7:40pm we just had enough time to get to the supermarket where we bought some food for our evening meal. It was quite late by the time we finished eating and as we were tired we all went to bed.

We had cereals and toast for breakfast. In the morning everyone went for a walk around the campsite to get their bearings. We stopped in a restaurant for a drink while on our walk. We all made our way back to the caravan for lunch. In the afternoon some of us chose to go to the pool whilst a couple wanted to stay and relax at the caravan. In the evening we made a meal of pasta and salad and then we went out to check out the disco.
This morning we cooked up some pancakes for breakfast and headed to the bus stop outside our Park. We took a bus to the village and went to a lovely beach. We found a really nice Spanish Cafe for our lunch and in the afternoon we walked to find some shops. Unfortunately it was siesta time and the shops close in Spain for 'siesta'. We then went for a walk to the harbour before heading back to our Park. Afterwards some wanted to go to the pool. In the evening after our meal we went to the bar and listened and danced to a Cuban band before heading to bed.
Today after breakfast we all decided to have a relaxing day (as it had been a busy holiday up to now). We headed up to one of the pools and joined in with the zumba class on the way. A couple of us went for a swim and the others chilled in the shade doing puzzles and colouring and reading the paper. We went back to the caravan for lunch and then some went to the other pool and some wanted to stay. We went out for a lovely meal this evening and then watched a show.
After cooking all the various food choices requested for the eggs with breakfast we got ready to head out. We caught a bus from the bus stop and went to the beautiful city of Barcelona. Once there we went on an open top bus to see the wonderful sights of the city. We took photos by the famous Barcelona Football Stadium. Later we visited a Pirate Boat and sailed out to sea! The water was so clear and blue. We were given pirate bandanas to keep. Today had been a very long and exciting day!
After our breakfast we headed out to catch a bus this time to Stiges a beautiful beach town on the Southwest Coast of Barcelona in Catalonia, known for it's beaches and seafront promenade. We managed to do some shopping and bought some gifts to take home. We sat in a cafe and had ice cream and watched the water and saw some jet skiers. After a little more shopping we headed back. In the evening we had a delicious BBQ followed by a trip to the bar and watched the Flamenco dancers on stage. Some of us enjoyed a dance along to the music.
Today we split into two groups as some wanted to visit the waterpark and the others wanted to go into Vilanova for shopping. At Portaventura Waterpark we enjoyed the slides, lazy river rapids, the wave pool and inflatable rides. The other group strolled around the town enjoying the Spanish shops and cafes before we all met back up to enjoy a lovely final evening meal. We ended the night watching an arobic dance act.

Today we ate our final breakfast in the caravan. Then we sat and watched zumba followed by puzzles and colouring in the shade before making our way back home. We had enjoyed the sun, sand, sea and the historic towns.
