Diary by Marc
along with Leanne & Heather.
I (Marc) travelled from Bournemouth to Swindon and from there travelled to The Barn near Cirencester. I met Leanne and Heather and the guys I was staying with on the holiday. The weather was not very good as it was raining and we unpacked. We went to the living room as Leanne was cooking a meal and we had fish pie with vegetables followed by cheesecake and lots of coffee and tea. We then all went to bed at different times, some of us watched TV and films that night.
the special fly past on Saturday's show
Leanne called us for breakfast and we had toast and cereal and also Leanne asked what filling we would like in our sandwich for our packed lunch. Heather helped with all the sandwiches. We took some folding chairs and travelled to The Air Show in Fairford. There was lots of traffic going to the airshow. The 1st aeroplane we saw was the F16 flying over us followed by a flypast with the red arrows, the boeing 747 and a spitfire. There was also a fly past for the NATO 70th Anniversary with 4 euro fighters and the F16. We also saw the frecce trivolori and then the super harrier. We left the show at 5pm. Leanne made us cottage pie with vegetables followed by cheese and cream cake and jelly. We had a visit from Wendy. We all had tea and coffee. It had been a long day.
We all got up at 8am and had breakfast and again Heather made us all a packed lunch. We then travelled to the Fairford Air Show. We sat in the disability area and watched all the aircraft. Some of the planes we saw were the red arrows, C17, blade and boeing C17 and a sea harrier. We were able to go and look at some of the aircraft and some of the guys went inside and saw a lancaster and 2 euro fighter and a F16 and red arrows. We left at 5pm and we were all tired . When we got back to our Barn hotel we all had a rest while Leanne made the evening meal. We all went to bed at different times.

We all got up at 8am and had breakfast as we had to be checked out by 10am. We all got our various lifts home and we had all had a really lovely time with Options Holidays. We had enjoyed meeting new friends and we may meet some again next year.
