Friday 13th July

Today we arrived at the Greyhound, had a cup of tea and settled into our rooms.  When everyone had arrived we chilled out, got introduced and explored.  We all had a lovely fish and chip supper together followed by ice cream.  Some of us went for a stroll in the evening.
Saturday 14th July

We woke up bright and early and very excited for our first day at the Tattoo.  We filled up on continental breakfast then headed out.  When we arrived we looked around some of the stalls and the aircrafts.  We found ourselves a spot on the grass and started to watch the air show.  We enjoyed the Red Arrows whilst eating our picnic lunch, this was followed by the Typhoon and F16 display - they were great!  Later in the afternoon we went inside a Voyager, Hercules, Atlas and Chinook helicopter.  We got back in the evening, ate pizza and salad then chilled and got an early night.
Sunday 15th July

After a great nights sleep we woke up raring to go.  We filled up on lots of breakfast and set off.  After finding our seats in our designated viewing area, which had a great view, we watched the Italian and Swiss display, they were brilliant.  Some of us went for a walk and sat in a Red Arrow plane and ate curry cooked by the Army - it was delicious!  When we got back to our seats we watched the WW1 display.  They fired fake bombs that made us jump and they also simulated a dog fight.  We saw the amazing Red Arrows show again and then the Ukrainian Air Force and then the Saab Griffin display and we headed home for dinner.  What a great weekend !
Monday 16th July

We had a lovely weekend but it was now time to go home.  We said our goodbyes and can't wait to come back next year.
